Montana (Very Berry Delicious drink)

This week in our study of the Western States is Montana. The capital of Montana is Helena. Did you know that the word Montana comes from a Spanish word meaning "mountainous"? How cool is that! Montana has a wide variety of berries like huckleberries, blackberries, raspberries, and strawberries. Now how about a tasty recipe to try…

Very Berry Delicious
1 (3-3/4 oz) package instant vanilla flavored pudding mix
1-1/4 cups cold milk
1 tablespoon frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed
1 (8 oz) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
In a mixing bowl, stir pudding into milk. Beat slowly for one minute. Add whipped topping. Beat slowly one minute longer, blending in orange juice.
Slowly stir in berries.
Refrigerate in covered container until ready to serve.
When ready to serve, add more berries to the top the of the desert.

If you are from Montana we would love for you to share a recipe with us to try. I'll be back next week to tell you what's next in our study of the Western States. Thank you again for stopping by to learn along with us.
