Terrific Tigers—Download N Go

I'm back with another review of Amanda Bennett's Download N Go series. This month’s Download N Go is titled "Terrific Tigers". I love the graphics in this DNG. The pictures of tigers were so cute. They are one of many of God's beautiful creatures. I remember when I was a kid my only favorite cereal to eat was…did you guess? Kellogg's Frosted Flakes! Don't you just love Tony the Tiger? Wonder whatever happened to that commercial. I haven't seen one in a long while. “Kellogg's Frosted Flakes…they're GREAT!!!”

In the Terrific Tigers DNG your children to learn about what a tiger is, different types of tigers, where tigers live, how they communicate, and cool things to know about tigers. The fun doesn't stop there. Other things covered are new and challenging vocabulary words, learning what's same or different between cats and tigers, what's considered as treats to tigers, learning how they survive, and the kids get to learn some tiger jokes.

The Download N Go series are designed for kids in K-4th grade. They sell for the low price of $7.95 each. It combines Unit Studies with Lapbooking. Having the lapbook combined with it makes it even more fun to learn about the topic. "Each study is one week in length (5 days), has interactive built in hyperlinks, and five daily lessons with lapbook components for each day." Each day there are book suggestions, family fun ideas, short educational videos, questions to answer for reviewing what was learned, and more. I believe the best thing about unit studies is that you are incorporating learning in more than one subject area. With the DNG series you can expect to cover subjects like spelling, vocabulary, history, and science.

Have you tried any of Amanda Bennett's Download N Go yet? If not how about giving the Terrific Tigers one a try.
