IFTD~ In a Pickle

Today's idiom is "In A Pickle".

CJ's guess: To be confused.
Correct meaning: To be in a mess, trouble, or in a difficult situation.
His sentence: Oooooh...you broke your mom's favorite plate; now you're in a pickle.

The week has come to an end and so has our Idiom For the Day. Thanks for joining us each week as we shared the new idioms my son learned. He'll be taking a break until next month so mom can do some planning for the new school year. Until next time you and yours be blessed.
