Homeschooling Plans for 2015-2016 School Year

School starts back up in a few more weeks. We're in our 9th year homeschooling. Last year was a busy year but with the Lord's help we persevered. This year in our workboxes are….

CRA Worhboxes
Bible- We're continuing with The Most Important thing You'll Ever Study along with Notebooking through the Old and New Testament.

Math- Math U See Zeta (we’re a little behind in Math but it’s okay because we’re working at his pace).

Language Arts- We started Easy Grammar Plus but only got half way through it. We should have this finished by the end of the year. We’re also working through Sequential Spelling 6 and may get to 7 before the end of the school year.

History- We’re continuing our study about America’s History.  My son loved learning about some of the wars so we’re doing more units on them. I stated last year we will be putting together a notebook that will have things about how our government works on all levels (state, federal, ect.). We did not get to that so we will work on this notebook with the new presidential elections getting close.

Science- We didn't finish Apologia’s: Exploring Creation with General Science 2 so we're continuing on with it.

Health/P.E.- We will exercise, study about health and nutrition as well as paying more attention to calories.

Life Skills- daily chores, prepping meals, ect,

Typing- We finished Keyboarding for the Christian School but he needs more work on the speed typing part. That will be the only focus this year.

Foreign Language- We will start on Visual Latin 2. We will have completed all of his foreign language credits by the end of this school year.

This pretty much sums up our year. Lots of learning going on and more work load for him than ever. Praying he can handle the work load and for God’s Will in his life, our home, and school year. Thanks for reading. May God bless your school year too!
