Our version of the "Workbox System"

Have you heard about the new thing homeschoolers these days are getting so hip to? It's Sue Patrick's Workbox System. I kept wondering why I was hearing about this on all my online support groups. I even read the interview that TOS Homeschooling with a Heart did with Sue on facebook. It sounded so great I went and checked out her website. After seeing what she and others had to say about this system I knew it was something I needed to try with my son to help him organize his day.

We start our 3rd year of homeschooling tomorrow. I finally got our workbox system set up to begin our new school year. This is our first time doing this system and we are so excited about it. I took some pics of our completed setup to share with anyone who needs yet another visual...LOL!

In this picture you see my son's morning schedule he needs to complete before school starts.

In this picture you see my son's evening schedule after he has completed all his tasks.

In this picture is my son's school schedule, clock in and out pockets, and his schedule strip for workboxes. Each day I change up the school schedule so he will know what subjects we will cover that day.

This is "The Fidget Basket". My son has Aspergers and ADHD. Whenever he gets a break he's allowed 10 minutes to play with things in this basket.

These are our workboxes. My son loves talking about the weather so my dh made weather number cards for him. His favorite color is also red as you can see above his schedule strip is red.

I hope this helps anyone out there who's trying to get theirs set up. I've seen so many different ways others have incorporated their system. It's amazing what you can do once you put your mind to it. Well until next time Happy Homeschooling.
