The movie Battleship...

My family and I went to see the movie "Battleship". We have the board game at home so I wanted to see if the movie would help me understand the point of the game. Now I understand what people in the Navy do and what the Destroyer ship was for. In the movie these aliens crashed onto planet earth and lost their communicator ship. These ships were huge and weird looking. They wanted to get communication back to their home planet so they went to NASA to take over the satellites. They were mad that the Navy was in the way. The Navy had a war with the aliens to stop them from taking over. My favorite part of the movie is when after the men lost their battleship they went to use an old battleship that was really a museum. The retired veterans on there had to help these young guys know how to use their ship because it didn't have that new technology on it. I didn't like the part where the aliens used these spikey spinning weapons to destroy a bridge were lots of people were on.

I give this movie 3 stars. One part I wish they did different is instead of using aliens to fight the Navy they should have used real people from another country. That's how a real war is! Stay tuned for more movie reviews by a kid named C.J.
