Homeschooling Encouragement

No matter how long you have been homeschooling we all need some encouragement at times. I often come across an educational quote, saying, or scripture that helps me along the way. I know first hand what it's like to worry, be uncertain, question, doubt, ect. your decision to stay on the path you've begun in educating your child. These come about for different reasons from person to person. That's why I want to encourage others especially anyone new to this. Each week I'll share something that has eased my heart/mind and assures me there is no mistake of God's calling for me to home educate my son.

Deuteronomy 6:4-9(NKJV)

“Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one! You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.
“And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.

The best thing ever about home educating our son is that we're free to teach him from a Biblical Worldview and God's perspective on things. I pray you meditate on God's Word and let it be your comfort and guide. Have a blessed day!
