Thankful for~ 11/15/18

I am thankful for...

The freedom to homeschool. Although my one and only is now a homeschool graduate, I'm thankful for the calling from God to teach our son for over 11 years. We made it from 2nd grade all the way through High School graduation. Those years go by SO FAST. I encourage all moms out there still in the journey to have faith in God to make it through. It's not just about academics so build up and enjoy your relationship with your kids. Don't stress yourself or your kids to the point of giving up. Be yourself and don't try to be like the next homeschooling mom/family. Don't be a carbon copy of someone else. You are unique, your kids are unique, and your family is unique. Let your homeschooling reflect your uniqueness and your family will be all the more happier. Not only learn right alongside the kids but take time to just hang out and enjoy making lots of fun lasting memories together.

Absolutely! We are almost done homeschooling, as well. I will always be thankful that we had the opportunity to have so much time spent together growing and learning. Glad you had the same!

Angie, you're probably feeling what I was feeling. On one hand, I was happy I would be able to say we made it all the way through. On the other hand, I was filled with so many mixed emotions because it was about to end.
