Thankful for~ 11/22/18

The photo in the frame came from an online printable.

I am thankful for...

My husband of 22+ years. We're blessed to call him the leader of our home, husband, and father. He shows interest in the things I do and encourages me to do anything that makes me happy. I thank God I have someone so special as him in my life. I love spending time with him just talking (especially going down memory lane), having date nights (lunch or snack time), joking around with each other (we have LOTS of good laughs together), and watching one another change as the years go by. I am also thankful for our son. He has such a loving, caring, giving, and compassionate spirit. I love watching him grow into a man. He touches lives in such a special way. Life would not be the same without him.

I'm thankful for family times. I love our family time on the weekends where we sit at the table together for a big breakfast.  Everyone is relaxed, takes their time just enjoying one another and the meal. No one is in a hurry to get anywhere. I wish every day could be like that :-)

I'm happy I'll have this list to look back on in days (and years) to come. It will be so beneficial especially when going through tough/trying times. When you think long and hard there is always something you can thank our Heavenly Father for. I pray everyone in the U.S. has a blessed and safe Thanksgiving day with their loved ones.
